Someone I met pretended to be English - they slipped up when I asked which parent they were closest to - “mom” is the wrong answer. Also their favourite “color”… confronting them and they just double down and insist they prefer they are English but prefer the US spellings 😵💫

@GoldenOldie mom and mum are pretty interchangeable, but colour?!? That has to have a 'U'...
