We shouldn't be sorry for being a real person experiencing real life.

What's embarrassing is how surface level most everything is and people's willingness to collectively pretend everything is happy and positive making it harder in general to cope with reality. Making us afraid of backlash for our truth. I can't think of anything more sorry than that.
