I'm aware of the myers briggs thing but what is 'type a', 'type b' etc personality?

I've never looked into how my personality would get categorised so I couldn't tell someone what my 'personality type' is.

I just watched a video on youtube of a woman barting about how she was rejected by a professional matchmaker. This would says she is a 'type a' and she will only date men who are 'type a' who make more money that her, who want to get married, etc.

She says she would never date a 'beta male' and regards them as doormats to be chewed up and spat out. 8-)

If a person is so hung up on categorising themselves they are probably going to have a hard time finding someone. What do you think?

The terms "Type A," "Type B," "Type C," and "Type D" refer to models of personality that categorize people based on behavioral patterns. These models are distinct from other personality frameworks, like the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) or the Big Five, and are commonly used in business and psychological analysis.
ABCD personality model
American philosopher and psychologist Robert S. Hartman developed a four-type personality system that is described as follows:
Type A: Analytical. Competitive, ambitious, and highly organized individuals. They thrive in leadership roles but can be impatient and prone to stress.
Type B: Behavioral. Outgoing, friendly, and social, they enjoy interacting with others and make decisions quickly, often relying on their gut instincts.
Type C: Communicative. Creative, imaginative, and open-minded, these individuals are excellent problem-solvers. They may need alone time to recharge after social interaction.
Type D: Deductive. Methodical, logical, and rational thinkers who rely on precision and accuracy. They analyze every detail before drawing conclusions.

@BrandNewMan Wow thanks so much! I run into corporate people regularly who think Myers Briggs typing is integral to management culture, but people who brag about it seem to be the worst type of corporates in my experience.

"Alpha, beta, and sigma personality types are popular online archetypes, with Alpha individuals portrayed as dominant leaders, Betas as cooperative and more passive, and Sigmas as independent "lone wolves" who are confident but not in the spotlight. These types originated from animal social hierarchies and are now used to describe human social dynamics, though they are not recognized scientific personality models. "
