If you were born the opposite gender, would you be a different person?

Like do you think you have a different personality or something

H.E. I know you are going through a lot and no idea how to support you but if you blogged on here I would read it. that is a lot you are experiencing right now

I guess to take a stab at your question:

I am sure I would have both culturally and physically. I am a really physical guy even at my old age. If I had less muscle on me I probalby would have scaled it back a bit.

On a culture standpoint I probably would have picked different hobbies and interests.

The things that I currentl do that coudl be seen as femine, is creative writing, huge compassion for animals and more specifically cats and I do yoga and pilates. I dont know anything about ball sports.

for things that I do that are totally dude ish--I have no fashion sense. Matching socks is a good day for me. I am messy. I almost never cry. I have a ton of sparring expience from my youth and probably been punched in the face more than 95 percent of the population

I don't really react as much as others (of either gender) to cold or heat. I wear shorts when it is 50 out and drink hot coffee when I mow the lawn in the summer . I mean I get cold and I get hot but my tolerance for it seems higher than most peoples. outside of writing I have almost no appreciation for the arts.

Maybe some of those woudl have been different.

Oddly though giong back to the physical thing I don't think most guys over 50 both on here and in real life would not make it through a 45 minute pilates class So maybe I woudl have been physical still but in a different way.

Hormones effect mental development, so yes i would be a tota.ly different personality
BigGuy2 · 31-35, M
@Patriot96 would you swap
Patriot96 · 56-60, C
@BigGuy2 hmm, maybe for a week
My entire existence would have ben different.
I would have been a little brother.
I would have been the second boy. My parents would have been different people with me. I would have had different stimuli to react to. I would have had different friends in school, different experiences.
So, yes, in a lot of ways.

I'd probably have grown up with different experiences, making me a different person. But if I grew up in the same environment and circumstances I bet I'd be similar

At the heart and core of me? No. I think that would be the same. I think things like some of my interests that are effected by nurture and environment might be different. The things I think are socially appropriate would be different, etc.

I'd probably have a package and two fried eggs - and that'd about be it.

I can't say that many of my life experiences would've been different because I don't think they would've been.

Of course. Our biology plays a much bigger role in our personality than is often assumed.

I'm already kinda 50/50, so I'd probably be pretty similar.

I think I would be big flirt and a tease. Hold it I did that when I was younger. So no different then
Adogslife · 61-69, M
Was that meant to be rhetorical 🤔
HumanEarth · F
Its just a question
I’d just be me with a package and two fried eggs for boobs.
@HumanEarth That’s quite a get-up you’ve got there.
HumanEarth · F
You like my owl pants or my tractor
@HumanEarth Oh, didn’t see the tractor there. I was mesmerized by the owl pants.
if i were born a woman i think i'd be a lesbian....ewww who would want to touch a man. i'd have a similar personality though.
