Telling people your 'personality type' or just including it in a social or dating profile

I know of personality types but don't know anything about what mine is.

If you know what yours it definitely, do you tell people what your is as a point of conversation, or do you include it in any social media or dating site profiles you might have? Do you directly pick/choose people to engage with socially and/or romantically based on their personality type and how it's perceived to be 'compatible' (or not) to yours?

ie. tonight a girlfriend who's bi-curious showed me a dating site profile of a woman who approached her and this person prominently displays her personality type 'INFJ-T' right at the top of the profile. My girlfriend found this really intimidating and quite annoyingly 'control freaky' like.

I tell others about my personality type, which is an INFJ, but my connections/ friendships aren't limited by it. For me, It's a tool I've used, since finding out, to better myself because I now understand myself. I do think it would be pertinent on a dating app ect, if I was in need of one, but I would also include astrological signs. I'm fascinated by stuff like that so perhaps I'm different.
