Telling people your 'personality type' or just including it in a social or dating profile

I know of personality types but don't know anything about what mine is.

If you know what yours it definitely, do you tell people what your is as a point of conversation, or do you include it in any social media or dating site profiles you might have? Do you directly pick/choose people to engage with socially and/or romantically based on their personality type and how it's perceived to be 'compatible' (or not) to yours?

ie. tonight a girlfriend who's bi-curious showed me a dating site profile of a woman who approached her and this person prominently displays her personality type 'INFJ-T' right at the top of the profile. My girlfriend found this really intimidating and quite annoyingly 'control freaky' like.

We talk about it sometimes with friends only if everyone is interested but I'd never stick it on my forehead like that, it's lame and way too self explanatory and why should I bother to read about someone else's traits when they don't even matter slightly to me yet
