I Love Old Fashioned Romance

Yeah..... old fashion romance has been lost.
To me, romantic gestures stem from manners, small things, kind words and kisses.
Ask me how my day is... hold my hand... hug me out of the blue...pick a pretty flower because you thought about me, write me a letter, send me a card, make me a sandwich for lunch.... sweet nothings are nice too...

I miss that stuff.

You know, I have a son who I'm very close with. I've dated many men in my youth and I thought I knew the heart of a man & through raising my son, He has taught me so much.
He has a heart that can be broken too. He cries. He felt crazy in love and thought of a future w his first gf. He showed her respect and kindness, he held her hand, brought her home to share meals with her and all that stuff... I can honestly say, he will never experience that kind of young love again.

Why I say that is because at some point, while we're older and single we all describe that young love that we once knew and crave. Maybe some are married and lost that spark, just need a little push to get that tenderness back in their lives again.

I agree..Men need love too and they desire it just like women.
