Shy isn't a bad way to be actually. I was painfully shy in my teens and twenties though - especially with the ladies.

@dilvin wow. Sounds a little more extreme than I was. I could say hi.... in a really muffled voice with my heart in my throat. 😛

@Ambroseguy80 kind of on the same boat really 😂😭

@dilvin well use the internet and the comfort of anonymity to make you a bit bolder. You'd be surprised how it can carry over in real life.

It seems to me that you are worth trying to get to know. Shy people usually have a lot to say when they feel comfortable.

@updown2020 it needs a bit of nudging sometimes :D

@76starships Yes the big mouth in the room have a lot to say but the quiet ones have even more to say when they start talking. You would not believe what you can learn when you just sit and watch and listen, The room speaks volumes.

You will find there are many people exactly like that here on SW and hopefully you will meet them. First impressions are total BS anyway. XD

My daughter is the same. She comes across as really brash and down right rude at times , but it is just her shyness coming out .

People sometimes think I'm mean but I'm really just reserved and shy. I feel you

If people know you then they know you are not rude you are just being you.
