I Am Not Your Stereotypical Anything
People put me into many categories and there’s a chance they all apply. I have a creative job. I’m my own boss so I have all creative control. I have a dichotomous nature, I have learned. This may explain a lot.
I think the base human need to ‘belong’ compels us to put people in boxes. There are 2 base human needs that are primative. And they can create a paradox for us. We have the need to belong and also the need to be autonomous. Ideally, this should work in tandem. But sadly, at this time in humanity, it tends to confuse.
We can be both for we are in need of both. I do strive for this myself.
