@spjennifer i would never insist someone wear a tie or tunic or bloomers. if you were in touch with reality, you would see that children would be attacking each other less if they all wore something closer to a uniform. and this is school for learning not a fashion show. it is wrong to encourage kids to try to look like famous people or models. gym shoes and no make up should also be enforced. it would be healthier for them. and while we are at it....no smoking pit. children are not allowed to buy smokes but they all have a smoking area???!!!!

@DIABLISS I'm "out of touch with reality" yet you're the one who wants kids to wear school uniforms like we did back in the 60's? I don't like it either but the reality is that kids are going to smoke, vape or smoke weed whether we like it or not, same as we did, removing "smoking pits" isn't going to prevent them from doing it, they just won't do it on school grounds any more and they'll go to places where they can be targeted by kindly drug dealers, good going, smart plan. Trying to control every aspect of a child's life is a lot more damaging than giving them some freedom to decide for themselves, schools aren't prisons... 😖

@spjennifer Wow, you don't care about children at all. the ones who are in the smoking pits, Are actually going elsewhere to smoke after school. you are an ignorant twit if you think otherwise. But the school should not encourage or condone smoking ever. It is poison! No one should ever be smoking on school grounds. ever! And these kids are more likely than others to go places that target young people. And yes, they should be wearing a uniform. IT IS A SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN! They shouldn't be going to be in fashion shows and paraded around like little made up prostitutes either. you are one of those weirdos that likes to see children act like adults aren't you?

@DIABLISS You just don't get it do you, they're going elsewhere to smoke during school too, banning it on school grounds just makes them go elsewhere, before, during and after school. Of course schools shouldn't condone it but it's not like they're going to stop them from doing it, you're deluded if you think that removing the "smoking pits" will accomplish that. As for wearing uniforms, that went out more than 50 years ago in public schools there Betsy, you're not going to eliminate public schools in favour of private ones with uniforms, corporal punishment and a religious curriculum no matter how badly you want them all goosestepping to your particular little brand of religious fascism. No, I'm one of those weirdos who wants to let children be children and not imprisoned little religious zombie drones like you want them to be 😖
