Do u think rejection has a bad effect on the individual?

Or it can help them strive for the better since good people don't reject others and would help you fix bad patterns if they have the ability to see it.
For me, I was rejected at a really young age(12yrs old), i live in an arabic society so people around me weren't a great catch 😬 this made me pass through hell and shut down my walls but it made me focus on my growth. I'm really glad no one liked me😂

Yes. If it happens too many times, and especially at a young age.

You will survive it, but you may be damaged for life, depending on what you went through, and for how long. Even so, many damaged people can still function at different levels. @Hassan

@Carissimi true, it hurts too much. I won't deny it.

It really does hurt a lot. 😔 @Hassan

I think… that’s a lot of various unhealthy things that have resulted in unhealthy experiences of being loved, but also unhealthy expectations of what someone who loves you will and will not do to ‘help fix you’.

@WhateverWorks i don't mean the please love me dynamic. 😬
But rather if you really know about life or have a good advice to offer when you judge me according to your " closed minded Arabic benchmark" you'd help me grow and not screw me up bcz i don't fit your ideal. But you're shit so I'm glad u rejected me bcz it opened heavenly doors for me.
That's what i meant 😊🙌
