I'm a Geek and Proud of It

I've been a geek as long as I could remember. I've always loved reading, writing, and playing video games like no other. I often get (arguably too) passionate about things that I enjoy. I can be quiet and reserved, but get me started about something I'm a fanatic of, and I'll talk at length about it, at the speed of a mile a minute.

I used to be kind of ashamed of it, but then I realized that there's plenty more people out there like me out there; and everyone has at least one thing that they're extremely passionate or super-knowledgeable about. That realization made me stop hiding it. If they don't like it, then I can respect that, but geekiness will probably always be a part of my personality.
