I Am a Loner

In the past I didn't like being a loner. For some time now I love that I'm a loner. I'm comfortable being a loner. I'm independent and I like my privacy. I'm happy with not having friends. My ideas, opinions, thoughts, values, and beliefs can be different from others because I formulate my own without receiving feedback from other people except through reading books, articles, fiction stories, and social networking websites; watching videos, movies, and TV shows; learning in school; and observing my family at home.

we cant live without connection, (I cant) the degree is how each person differs..how much, being afraid may be the issue..afraid to love, to take risks...to lead with honesty as a guide, honesty and love...have to be in the middle..these have to be the goals..without there is aloneness..

I concur--a balance of both genuineness or authenticity and loving-kindness or compassion, a middle ground of telling the truth and being tactful. We feel lonely when there's no connection between us and another person, but sometimes the absence of connection exists because of the lack of connection we have for ourselves. I can find a connection with others when I think of the similarities I have with them, knowing that others understand what I experienced because they experienced those events too and said, did, felt, and thought the same words, actions, emotions, thoughts.
