I am an introvert but a more social one

I am an infp and if interested in the conversation, can listen and talk quite a bit. I can make small talk when needed. I have gotten infj as my personality type too. I love learning people’s stories and engaging with them and also like alone time when I can recharge my batteries. I like one on one interaction or small groups to know people more intimately. I can be in a crowd as long as I am not interacting with so many people at once. But for doing projects and wanting to have a work space I prefer quiet relaxed environments. I also prefer independent learning education that is asynchronous or self paced online.

I am very much the same way. I worked from home for years and loved it. I know I was more focused and productive that way. I also enjoy social gatherings but prefer smaller ones. I think it’s easy to conflate “introvert” and “antisocial”, but I don’t believe one leads to or implies the other.
