I am very shy and don't find it easy talking to certain people or opening up and being very social I have been trying to but people tend to think I am a soft weak and odd person at times because I am how I am .

Then build up your self-worth and self-love.
Not one person can validate you or complete you, that is your job for you.
Be at home in you, then so to will others be.
Know that most people are also trapped in their life drama, to notice that you are shy.
Get into hobbies that give you a sense of you, that you become the activity so deeply that time is forgotten.
Your own self-love is the love that will fill you. As others can add to us, yet they can't fill us.
Be the best that you can be for you.
