I'm Not Stuckup, I'm Shy And Introverted

I'm starting to get the feeling that people at my job don't really like me. I think I make them uncomfortable because I'm so quiet and they don't really know how to interact with me.

I used to have friends at work but they all left 🤷‍♀️ Now there's a whole new staff.

But I'm used to sort of being on the outside of things and the more it happens, the less it bothers me, I think.

Quiet doesn't make you asociable :)

Work is not your life, it can be great to have clear boundaries between work and your private life.

Perhaps some will take your quietness for a professional trait. People with chaotic lives may feel thankful for a calm environment.

Besides, what people think is their problem. Shine on.

I am 16 years with the company i work for, 2 years ago my manager who was also my best friend died of a heart attack aged 44 a year later the company founder died of a heart attack aged 74 since then we have hired more staff and i have found it extremely difficult to adjust to new people and like yourself i feel that the new people don't understand me

Don't be sorry, just take solace that you are not alone in this world, there are always other people similar to yourself out there, and if everyone shared a little bit then everyone is helped a little bit

I have been so consumed by my work that it has destroyed parts of my life that i can never get back. Whatever you do please don't let work take over your life it's not worth it
