People who consistently stand with the oppressed and the vulnerable, including when they don't get any validation or thanking.

Because they do what's right rather than focusing on being seen as right.

I am thanking you. 🤍

Keep going.

Goodness shouldn't become a trend for people to finally care. Individual acts matter regardless of the norm and what's being normalized.

Exactly. A lot of people latch onto causes because they’re trendy, and don’t actually look at the facts, and then end up doing more harm than good. Prime example is what’s happening on college campuses now with the pro-Palestine movement

People should be allowed to protest for their beliefs. That is not the point of my post.

You can't actually evaluate each person's motivation and conviction, so that conclusion sounds like bias to me. Too general and too dismissive.

My thread addresses those who have first hand experience. It is very easy to criticize the efforts of someone else.

You're hijacking my thread. A positive thread to push a specific agenda.

Like I already said, you are incapable of evaluating the motivations of ALL the protestors and whether or not they are consistent in their principles.

You just don't like what they protest about.

And Sudan should not only be brought up to silence another cause, speaking of consistency. Same for other causes.

This is a waste of time.

@Zeuro Sorry, but I am not going to waste my time arguing online.

Feel free to do that elsewhere. This thread wasn't an invitation for you to use it as an outlet or to push a specific agenda.

Good luck!
