What signs show that someone is intelligent?

I think intelligence is the ability to change. I come from the viewpoint that there's multiple types of intelligences but I would value the ability to change as a superior form over others. It shows self awareness and it shows that you can reflect.

All people make mistakes in life, sometimes people go through periods of ignorance but the self awareness is what is needed to determine right and wrong for "yourself" and grow.
