I keep forgetting these two behavioral types. Can you very briefly refresh me?
@Grateful4you which 2? there are 16 according to this test.
@AliceinWonderland LOL, a lot broader spectrum than I thought. Overall, I am very empathetic, seek to be kind, highly intuitive. I am subject to over-indulgence, average intelligence but enjoy learning. Both introverted and extroverted depending on the situation and a variety of other factors. Just your garden variety human.
@Grateful4you i think people are on a scale between 2 extremes. when i was in college (back a long long time ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth) there was a lot research to back up the "ocean theory" or "big 5" which was on O-open to new experiences, C- conscientiousness, E - extraversion, A - agreeableness, and N - neurotic. 🤓
@AliceinWonderland I myself am pre-jurassic. I loved my psych. studies, everything from James Lange, to William James. I just felt that out there in the jungle, the various and sundry "therapies" generally went nowhere after months, (even years) of intense therapy and as many dollars. I just lost interest.

It wasn't until a year ago when I stumbled across a relatively new approach I'm sure you've heart of, "Positive psychology" based on something so simple yet profound. The psychology of happiness.

Doesn't require a therapist, easy access via YouTube and includes easy and fun exercises. Hardly a cure for whatever DMS problems but certainly an effective aid toward wellness.
@Grateful4you do you know the 6 minute diary?! it is based on positive psychology. i love it.
@AliceinWonderland No. But I just noted this and will give it a whirl. Sounds like fun. Thanks!
