(i wanted to ask who is intelligenter between x & y but then realized intelligence might mean different things to different people)

Its all contextual. A brilliant mathematician would be stupid in a wilderness survival situation, just as dog, no matter how smart, doesnt make a good goldfish.
Although in saying that, cleverness is sort of quick and wisdom is very subtle
