I Am An Infj

Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging. At least, according to the 70-question version of the Meyers Briggs Type Indicator that I took online today. This personality is called the "Confidant" and also the "Advocate".

Which personality type are you? Follow this link, answer the questions, and find out. Remember, there are no right or wrong answers. Just answer honestly. Here's the link: http://psychology-tools.com/personality-type-indicator/

If you also happen to be an INFJ, or you want to learn more about us, you can visit this website, which gives a good, detailed desc<x>ription of the traits of this type. Here's the link: http://www.16personalities.com/infj-personality.

Also, if anyone knows of a website where the full-length Meyers Briggs Type Indicator (which I understand has over 100 questions) is offered for free, please let me know. Thanks!

The thing with psychology is it's all made up.And people rarely get anything lasting from it.It' is certainly not scientific. It comes from a place of you're broken and in need of repair.
Who you are is really a story of your own making but not from creation, but from cause and effect.
Actual reality is something like physics and is not open to interpretation.
In others words life is a story we fell in to.
All this stuff does is add to the drama we call our life.

There are no bad personality types, just different ones with different sets of strengths. I personally don't see anyone as broken and in need of repair just because they have a certain personality type. They just have their own unique set of gifts.

I agree that who we are at our core is mostly of our own making, though we all have hereditary traits that we should be aware of. Being aware of these traits and learning to use them in a positive way can help us live more fulfilling lives and can actually help us have less drama in our lives. But that's just my perspective. Learning more about my personality has helped me understand and accept myself, and it has also helped me understand why certain aspects of life are especially challenging for me. Self-awareness never hurts anyone, as long as we are completely honest with ourselves.
