Sweet and serene
You are
Like a shining star
Floating through my cosmos

I could wish upon you
But I’d rather wish for you
Your hand to hold
Your lips to kiss
Your arms around me

And yet you go on shooting by
Through my dark and stormy sky
Sending tendrils through my sighs
And you don’t even know it

Waking from a dream of madness
And still I can’t forget you
Rolling over i just grab another pillow and hug it as I remember all the tiny things with my eyes half awake.

And letters sent on timeless waves
Speak of the nothings that I crave
Trapped inside the endless maze
Of all the past’s procession

Twisting inside thoughts that writhe
And staring at the dream that died
Inside this pool of tears I’ve cried
Lost inside regressions

Yet there you are still shining bright
A star inside the empty night
A wonder beholden inside my sight
And all I feel is affection
