I Am An Idiot

Before I was kicked out of being a teacher aide, there was this class assignment that the special ed. kids were doing and that was discussing the SuperBowl and what they expect would happen during the game. For some reason I don't know, the teacher (Mrs. K) started to ask everyone including a teacher aide and I what we liked to watch. I guess because the SuperBowl has those expensive, not so funny commercials that everyone watches. After one kid replied he liked watching the Simpsons, I thought of saying Archer, because that's the show I like to watch and I figured because these students were middle schoolers, answering Mrs. K's question wouldn't THAT be bad. I will never forget the look of shock on her face after I said that, while two of her students asked, "what's that? What's Archer?" At least I know now to keep it rated G if I'm asked that question again in the future.

Each to their own show

@bhatjc Though how the teacher reacted was weird. As if I ruined the minds of some of these students or something. Even though the all of them knew the Simpsons which occasionally has a tv14 rating.

Now that I think about it, imo there is a difference between hearing what someone watches and actually watching the show which has more affect on how a kid acts. A few of these students will likely never see the shows of Rick and Morty, Hunger team force, Archer, etc. and for good reasons.
