Are you using your own status of psychiatric stability as your baseline for what you've determined is "normal" behavior?

I am not going to get into details of things she has said to me, out of respect for her.

And I hope that you never have to experience mental illness in someone you love, as I have. That sick feeling in the gut as you realize that the person you knew is "gone" and needs help to return.

And as for Mona, while I did draw on my own personal experiences, I also prefaced my comment on this thread with the phrase "I think...." Of course I could be wrong.

@swirlie I know several people with mental illness who I respect deeply.
