Wow! I hope my husband never volunteers with the Samaritans......😱

He's got a friend who is going into hospital for a (non-life-threatening) operation. He's a bit worried about having a general anaesthetic and the chance that he may not wake up. (A common fear) My husband told him "of course you'll wake up and if you don't you'll be dead and you won't know anything so you've nothing to worry about". 😲😲😲😲😲. Really can't believe he was so insensitive. 😡

@Indy74 I know 🙄. It's as bad as those people who say to a roman who has had a miscarriage "it's nature's way of saying there was something wrong with it" 😨😱. May be some truth in it but horribly tactless 😥

@Fluffybull Yes, I quite agree. You're supposed to reassure someone that things are gonna be okay. Don't be negative about it. If it was meant to be funny, it's not funny.
