I Believe Good Manners Is Not Old Fashioned

I must confess I am amazed at the lack of teaching of good manners these days to young people. I was on a crowded bus with many teen schoolchildren occupying the seats when a real old lady got on. Not one of the kids budged to give up their seat for the frail old lady who was left standing till an older man gave up his seat. I don't blame the kids too much as it appears they have never been told a few manners by their parents or anyone else. Perhaps that should be on the curriculum of our politically correct schools
