Are modern friendships just sending junk from Facebook and tick tock without having real conversation?

I thought I made a friend but I can tell when people get sick of me because I don't live on my phone. I tried to explain and she backed off completely. This keeps happening. I guess I'm not friend material because I actually want to talk and hang out?

When it comes to meeting people, I feel like I hit my head and woke up so far in the future I'm the only human left.

I seldom have any conversation, meaningful or otherwise. Cause most people are busy chatting with someone and maybe they will talk to me only on social media. I am not they anywhere else but here. I don't bother too much as long as I get my staple diet of books, movies, music and nature.
