May we proceed with love. Our only hope is to learn as we continue on. We cannot stop, so we should not stop laughing and caring and being kind.

I ask whatever powers that be, to protect our children, our elderly, our disabled, our oppressed, this earth and all its flora and fauna, all that is sensitive and loving, please.

May the truth shine.

I agree with almost everything here. The only thing I would add is maintain the necessary elements to protect these principles and keep them safe from those who would do harm. Every beautiful society must have protection as well other than that great post

Wonderful post.. We should be earth's caretakers and of each other. Unfortunately, our society has become selfish and uncaring. It's extraordinary how manipulative and unkind people can be now. There is no natural feeling towards our elderly in many residential homes, children, including babies, are abused and even killed by the very parents who are supposed to be protecting them.
If these things are continuing, where is the learning? To learn to love and feel empathy? It's diminishing throughout society. We can hope for things to get better, but in taking off any rose coloured glasses we chose to wear in viewing our world, the reality is turmoil.

@Ichigo I have accepted that chaos is a natural part of life. That hate has no limits it won't go to. There is no way to stop it or change it. Our society enables it, praises it, promotes fakeness, so of course we can't be counted on as stewards when all we care about is ourselves. That's the path of chaos that people involve themselves in. It's a prevelant and easy choice for a mind that can't/won't grow.

Anyone who doesn't choose that path is going to have to stay strong. Stay kind.

I was angry this morning then I realized if I let hate well up in me, I'm the poison I'm trying to avoid taking.
