I see the need, think it’s great for people who’d get something positive out of it. But personally it would just make me feel pathetic having to pay someone to hug/cuddle me.

@OlderSometimesWiser I feel you, but guys pay for rub and tugs…and they can do that themselves!
@SW-User I’d likely feel the same if I was a guy. More of a gender neutral pathetic for me. 🙂
@OlderSometimesWiser in the childlike parts of my mind I can see it as a pure thing. But I know people ruin it lol I might even be that pathetic. I have gone to touch therapy for fibromyalgia and it is lovely but they don't really touch you. It's like reiki. When they do touch you it is such a relief. Massages hurt me. But a nice warm snuggle with warm squeezing arms around me would feel amazing. I have no where to get that. Unless you count the too-long hug I gave my doctor last visit 😂
@MarbleMarvel Like I said, if people find value in it I think that’s a beautiful thing. The pathetic aspect for me likely comes as a result of my own, to use a Yiddish word, mishegoss, or craziness based on life experiences.
