People don't like me at all and I can't figure it out.

@MarbleMarvel I know why. People aren't inclined to be sympathetic towards a person's situation. It's a selfish world and I have to live in it.

@Umile It's great you figured it out. I've spent a lot of time understanding myself, but a lot around me changed in ways that don't make sense to me, in about the last five years. So now I'm relearning and unlearning. Change is the only constant, so I stay curious so I don't go stale and start treating people like I have all the answers and they're stupid for questioning. I don't think anybody has it figured out and in believing they do, they close their doors to exceptions.
