Hippies are just as rigid as anyone
For as much as they want to be free spirits who go with the flow of the universe, they won't ever be that way. They have their own obsession with control but the face is just different enough to fool people.

I respectfully disagree with this assessment. While most of us are in fact subject to some degree of rigidity, those of us who tend to be left- leaning are far more prone to changing our views given reasonable facts/evidence. Having had a great number of those of a "hippy mindset" just don't fit the model you're projecting here. Sorry.

@Grateful4you you can't just change the defining characteristic around to suit yourself. Hippies are averse to things that are antihippy, it's simple

@Jackaloftheazuresand And you cannot designate the term "Hippy" into a tiny, ticky, tacky box of preconceived behaviors. Rubber stamped and labeled.. Human nature and the stream of consciousness is never "simple" but I appreciate and respect your point of view.
