I Am Highly Empathic

I am glad I am a very empathetic person. But is it possible to be to empathetic? Like I just saw a video of people who catch pedophiles by pretending to be underage and then meeting up with the people and getting the arrested. I couldn't help but feel pain in my stomach when I saw the pedophiles faces when they realized what was going on. And feeling their pain and embarrassment too. Even though I understand that they are doing something horrible and should be caught I still felt bad for them too.
