Emotions on earth bring pain? What about impersonal love, empathy?

When memories leave they hurt, don't they? What's the point of having something profound with anyone on a personal level when everything will change sooner or later and as memories vaporize from our consciousness they hurt and distract.

Because there's still us, ourselves. The "I".. the one that learns and grows with each personal interaction. We couldn't grow or learn very much without those interactions.

They change us. If we're doing it right, they should be changing us for the better.

We learn a lot. Sometimes it's good items we learn, other times bad.

But in the end, it's all for us - the "I", the "me".

@Magicianzini It's a slow learning for sure. We fall for it as hard everytime :|
@Om2014 Slow? It only takes a lifetime. It's ok to keep falling .. just keep learning while you do it. That's the idea.

@Magicianzini :D a lifetime, in hindsight it feels like few moments, but while ur living it moment to moment it can be very long right? But I get the idea of learning as u go.
@Om2014 Yes.. sometimes very long - it depends on the experience. When it's great, it moves (too) fast, but when it's excruciating, it goes far too slowly.

Some of the worst people in my life, have resulted in me learning the most valuable lessons. Of what I've learning, the most valuable lessons come at the highest prices.

@Magicianzini Thankyou for your words. Do u think emotionally we learn too? Or is it just the mind which gets hardened and seasoned so as to where to open heart n where to back off n be shallow
@Om2014 Ah I believe we grow in all ways. There are also anti-lessons.. such as allowing your mind or heart to get hardened. As difficult as it is, we can't allow that to happen. That often means taking a break after someone's damage and taking the time to heal ourselves.

Remember the goal is to always end up a better person with superior traits afterwards, not the opposite. One can become stoic without become hardened, for example. There are always better choices.

You will want to end up improved (not damaged) as a result from the interaction(s).
