What is the creepiest thing a man can do the next day AFTER a pleasant first date with a lady that is sure to scare her away?

I once put a single rose on a first date's car windshield in her workplace parking lot, and I think it scared her off. Was that creepy? I won't do it again; that's for damn sure.

yes her husband saw it

@candycane I never thought of that 🤣.

@Horace thank you👌

I don't think it's creepy at all. It's sweet.

@Horace Yay! I got my rose! In all honesty, leaving that rose was a lovely gesture.
That's kind of love bomby
In my observation. If a women likes a men, it doesn't matter what he does. It will make her feel special and like wise, if she wants to keep you at bay, than nothing is going to work for her. There are absolutely no rule than what she wants, how she wants, how much she wants, when she wants and when she doesn't

@Pomegranates What about women who genuinely like a man but still won’t compromise on their principles? Doesn’t that show that values can outweigh feelings?

That’s incredibly creepy.

Red flag…inviting you to dinner at his mother’s house after a first date OR, calling first thing in the morning to say he dreamed about you OR, sending 27 texts asking how you are.

@PinkStarburst That's exactly what I deduced the day after the day after those many years ago. Live & learn.

Show up the next the morming with a wounded raccoon in a picnic basket.
Horace · M
@Bumbles You've done that, or know somebody who did?
Mindful · 56-60, F
@Bumbles OMG! Yes that would make me wonder a little bit. He's either compassionate and interested or...I'd wait and see if there were more signs of other

@Horace @Mindful If I let it loose in her apartment could be a bad sign. I haven’t tried it…yet.

To scare her away??
Next morning I would say.

Compared to all my previous hook ups l, you were adequate.
Mindful · 56-60, F
Is it scarey that would endear me but NOT scare me?
Mindful · 56-60, F
@Horace it rhetorical. That would not scare me. It sound like a romantic gesture AFTER at least one evening. I do think flowers on a first date is superficial type of romance.

@Horace the truly creepy stories out there ruin life for the rest of us. But if she couldn't appreciate it, maybe it's for the best...maybe she was too uptight. I dunno. It sounded sweet. Maybe she's seen too many horror flicks.

It's sweet, unless she never told you where she works. 👀
Horace · M
@Nightwings We were acquaintances and got to know each other long before we went out together. Small town. We knew a lot about each other. We spent a lot of time talking about hers and my work.

Twas her plan all along to get scared away...I think it's a professional victim type thing they do.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Only if she didn't tell you where she works. 😆 Still might be perceived as pushing it too much.
Horace · M
@CrazyMusicLover I addressed that in another reply.
how about the dumbest thing a woman can do to make a man do her wrong?
@Horace you can do that yourself
