Creepy thought for the day

I have this thought every time I hear about the Titanic.

So, at a certain depth in the ocean, the pressure equalizes and things will remain suspended in that area.

I always wonder how long the bodies of those not recovered hung suspended in the ocean until they disintegrated.

I don't know that but I *do* know they haven't found any skeletons or any human remains. Yet.

@mayguy So I read up on that and it seems around 40 feet, a body will suspend in the ocean. The bacteria and saltiness of the water will cause fairly rapid decomposition, though, I'm not sure if that is as fast as in the cold waters they were. But what I read said that there wouldn't be any bodies after 20-30 years after, just articles that are metal or leather with preserving tannins.

So by 1945, it's safe to assume nothing would be left that was organic. The first dive to the Titanic was in 1986, so there wouldn't be any remains left to see.
