I Like Creepy Things
I've always had an affinity for unusual things, even when I was very young. I didn't really realize it until I reached high school. It was then I saw a lot of these usual things I like are quite dark. When we read dark stories like Markheim and Edgar Allen Poe I absolutely adored them. I had to take a step back and question myself as to why I liked such dark things.
As of now I'm fully aware of my liking towards stuff such as this. How it tends to go is, I see something that scares me shitless, then I pause to observe it, and then I love it. For example, I have one of those "clown dolls" that everyone finds horrifying. He scared me a bit when I first saw it but then I really adore that doll; he happens to be straddling the line between creepy and endearing. (However my friends find him downright terrifying)
Most of the things I gravitate towards is dark and creepy too. I find cemetaries alluring, I love horror movies, I enjoy urban legends and crytids and monsters and the like. Even my fashion is dark as well.
As I've seen other's post here, I tend to like the dark things of life while most of my friends gravitate towards the light, sunny things this world has to offer.
