how do you know if you are codependent

like my mother rings me 3x daily, my mum lives far from me now and we've always been very close...but is this codependency? it's just the way me and my mother have always been.... what can i do about it?

I don't see a problem with it if it's not disrupting anything in your life. Do you have a problem with her calling you 3 times a day?

@MsSwan thankyou for answering, i feel i need that contact, without my mum ringing me that much, i think i'd be lost and feel even more alone.
