have you ever dealt with any of those childish grown up people 🙄🥺

i'm really sick of those childish people who tends to take it so far in order to maintain their image and prove you wrong...just because they are older than you... even if takes them to do things the wrong way they will do it just to seem like the most knowledgeable 😤😤😤

any idea how to deal with them? i've tried to be nice and pretend nothing happened but they keep taking it so faaar!!! 😠🤬

I try to pay them no mind
I work with a few engineers like that
They’re almost like divas
What is happening that is "so faaar" in your opinion? What kinds of topics/situations is this happening with?

I know those people. I do my best to be professional and then work around them because 99% of the time they add 0 value

@MrGoodbar yeah me too, but i'm really getting tired of doing so and they still won't stop😩
MrGoodbar · 51-55, M

Give an example of something you're talking about .....

@Incomplet one of my coworkers keeps telling people that i'm doing my work the wrong way and pretending to fix it (while making it even worse) just to show them that he's better than me🥺

Put a full stop to it. Be open and honest but not rude
emi27 · 26-30, F
@Reflection2 how to put a fullstop without being rude? 🤔
Incomplet · 18-21
@emi27 Like this! With the you use for babies and old Senile People.

"Excuse me Bob? I understand that you're trying to help, but I do actually know what I'm doing."

"My work is correct just as it is!"

"No complaints at all from the Boss!"

"So, Bob, thank you for trying to help, but I'm fine."

@swirlie i keep doing that but still they talk behind my back, i can't defend myself and my opinion if i'm present 🤷🏻‍♀️
Incomplet · 18-21
@emi27 let them talk behind your back ....
While they're doing that then they cant be bothering you.
Walk up and ask "Are we talking behind someone's back again today? Not mine again, I hope?!"
