Why can’t people just apologize when they’re wrong? 🤦🏽‍♀️

Some people call themselves adults but can’t acknowledge that they are wrong sometimes and simply can’t even apologize. Why? If I am wrong, I will say “ I was wrong, you were right and I’m sorry”. It’s so simple, yet a lot of people let their pride get in the way 🤷🏽‍♀️ It’s annoying and childish honestly
