Change my mind: Low rise jeans are much more comfortable than high rise jeans [I Am Different]

So since y2k look is returning I recently thrifted 4 pairs of 2000s-style low rise jeans and omg r they comfy😊😊😊
They sit very low on my hips so although they r the super tight, skinny type of jeans they don't restrict my tummy unlike the high rise skinny jeans I usually wear lol
My bf also find the low rise look rly cute and likes how he can occasionally have a sneak peek of my hips lol
The only drawback is since I hate wearing belts plus all of my underwear r currently high rise my undies keep on sticking out whenever I bend over or sit down😩
I'd rather be showing skin than my underwear because having your entire underwear poking out above your jeans just screams tacky😤

You can wear whatever you like, it’s none of my business.
But whether or not they’re comfortable often depends on one’s build. With low-riders (“hip-huggers” we called them) I always felt like my pants were falling down, and it didn’t matter what size I bought. So for me, they were always very uncomfortable.

@bijouxbroussard Well the jeans I got r all skinny jeans that r super tight so they stay on my hips without any problem lol😉, only problem is when I sit or squat my jeans do fall down a lot and a huge amount of my undies keep showing😭

@lisasweety That’s exactly what I mean—I couldn’t squat or even sit without them feeling like they were coming down. And I had the choice of people seeing underwear or buttcrack. Not a very comfortable fashion for me. 😕

@bijouxbroussard Same here when i sit or squat my jeans keep falling down my butt a lot and i always need to pull them up when i stand back up😭, and tbh if i had to choose between showing buttcrack and my undies id rather show my buttcrack since i hate showing my panties to ppl😫 What is it like to show buttcrack? have u ever shown ur buttcrack before?😖

@lisasweety No, and I had no intention of doing so. That’s why I never wore low-rise pants without a long tunic over them.

@bijouxbroussard well but doesn't wearing long tunics defeat the purpose of low rise jeans?😧 like arent u supposed to show off ur hips? id just like to show skin without having to worry about accidentally showing my panties or buttcrack😫

@lisasweety I wore them because while they were in style the first time (circa 1970s) it was hard to find anything else. I never liked the style.
