Last night Marko, one of the three guys I live with, said that our cash flow problem is back. The three of them have to go and chase debtors today, to get some of the monies owed to their management company. So he needed me to go to see our landlord, Charles Allenbee, and try to get him to give us a day or two to get the rent money.
Marko said I should dress the part because Allenbee likes to ogle, so I should exploit the fact to try and get him to give us a little time. So, this morning I got up and I thought the best time to go is the time we would normally go with the cash, Friday at nine o'clock. I've seen how he ogles when he comes to the farmhouse on his little inspections. So, very short skirt, flimsy panties, hold ups tall heels, semi transparent top......
I walked the ten minutes walk to his house. Allenbee is married but his wife is in a wheelchair. They are an older couple, and I suppose he is quite frustrated in his home.
They have a number of properties they rent out. Our farm is expensive. It's divided into two, but I think ours is slightly bigger, our part of the farm garden looks bigger. When I got there he was quite welcoming, and complimentary, and he asked me to sit with him.
Now Marko suggested I be artful to get the short period of grace so he could get the monies together, so when I sat with Mr Allenbee in his office at the front of his house I sat with my knees slightly apart as I faced him. I saw him look down and into my lap a few times as we talked, and agreed a four day extension on the due date, and so Marko will be able to wait bank transfers to be confirmed today, and I can return to the Allenbees next Monday or Tuesday with the cash.
