@NewKidInTown A charter or rights that protects the government and not the people. Ever increasing intrusion into people's personal lives.

@hippyjoe1955 I suppose there is a fine line between too much government interference and having one that steps in to benefit the country as a whole. You will never get an entire population to agree in a democratic society

@NewKidInTown Nor should you. But in Canada the population was never consulted on the Charter of Rights. It was imposed unilaterally by the government of the day.
