Do you let people get away with the lie?

Or do you call them on it? I'm letting it slide because it's what I don't want to answer myself.

If it can reasonably be disproved at the time then I will call them out but if it's a suspicion (reasonable or not) I just respond with a 'oh yeah' a nod or 'oh right' or something to that effect. Neither do people seem unconvinced by my insincerity in the circumstances.
