Fundamentally, a liar and a coward are one and the same.

A coward lies because he's afraid to speak the truth. He fears the potential repercussions. If unencumbered by fear, perhaps he would choose honesty. It is just one of many examples of how fear cultivates corruption and dishonesty.

Cus de amato gives a good impression of the similarities. Liar apart. You.ll get a beter version of the "hero and the coward" from this old dude.

The legendary trainer. What did he say?
Perry1968 · M
@RenFur He said they both feel the same. Its how they react to a situation that seperates them. (Words to effect)

If Tyson hadn't lost him he wouldn't have fallen apart.

@RenFur I agree. But everyone younger than 40 only seems to remember post prison crazy jacked Tyson whos bob n weave was already on its way out after King got a hold of him. Still Tyson was a prodigy. Still the youngest heavyweight ever. Cus demise was also mikes.

Perfectly put. There'll never be as promising a dominant fighter as Mike again. In any weight division.

@RenFur I agree. 5'10 or not. He had the speed of a decent welterweight

Look at Patterson. He won gold as a middleweight! Ali said he had the best boxing skills of any pro heavyweight he faced. If Ali and Mike met when both were at their finest, who do you think would win?
Perry1968 · M
@RenFur Cus had the knowledge hey. Absolutely a encyclopaedia of boxing knowledge. Passed to his fighters. I personally think Mike was on a different level. Like a much much better version of Frazier. A similar style only Mike was a harder puncher with both hands and had the peekaboo style worked out 100%. Im never going to put Ali on the sideline though because that guy had a jaw of titanium and the longer rounds went on the better chance Ali had. Mikes style is a younger guys style tbh. The peekaboo is very energetic and by the time he faced Lewis. Tyson was a 40% flat footed version of what he once was. Lewis had the style to grow into the elite fighter he was. Ali to. Mikes was a burnout style. Had hed not gone to jail we could had hopefully seen a record equaling julio cesar chavez 89-0 quite easily considering back then. 7 fights per year was normal. Now once a decade for 20 billion. Ive gone off this new WWE era of fighting.

I like and respect Lewis but Mike would've destroyed him if both were at their peak. Lewis got lucky against one of the Ukrainian Klitschko (Vitali) brothers, too. Any further into the fight before it was called due to cuts and Lewis woulda been knocked out.
