I’ve terminated the attorney-client relationship over egregious misinformation by my (former) client. I didn’t feel comfortable representing them.
I still won’t divulge the client’s name, but it was serious enough to say no, I not only won’t do what you’re asking me to do, but I’m also not going to continue representing you.

@DragonFruit I'm suing my former employer, their lawyers actually asked me for my notes of a meeting because they know my boss was lying (and they didn't want to get surprised by anything I say in court I guess lol)

You're paying the lawyer. Lying to them really isn't helpful. Some people like to throw money away.
