@NinaCherry Black Hawk wasn't* even a black man; he was* a Native American. The post was not intended to incite racial tension or provoke hostility. It merely reflects a facet of American history. Apparently, a portion that some white Americans seem eager to erase.

'@Justice4All 'Black Hawk' isn't even a person. The guy you quoted (?) hasn't existed since 1838. One assumes the things he said & wrote were appropriate, then, to the workings of his own mind and the conditions he experienced in the early 19th century.

In our own time we'd do better to deal open mindedly with real and [u]specific [/u] current issues.
