Do you want to truly apologize to someone here?

May be you said something in the heat of the moment without giving it much thought?

May be you feel you were just being unfair towards them ?

May be you could have shown patience and empathy to understand their perspective?

May be you know you weren't at fault entirely and you just stood up for yourself but still felt bad because hurting anyone gives no pleasure to you?

May be you feel what you did was called for at that moment but had you shown a little maturity you could have chosen to simply not react?

I can think of some users if i have to think of the above questions.
