A few nice people left in the world!

So since my electricity has been off since around midnight last night, I have called the utility company 12 times and they never let me talk to an actual person, just voice recording. So I decided to drive down there today before they closed. The lady was super nice but she had no clue how long my electricity would be off. All she could tell me was that it was a fuse. I was doing a lot of complaining about losing my groceries I had bought last night. I’m off work today and had bought salmon burgers to cool in my air fryer. I told her I was going to have to go eat out now and who can afford that after losing their groceries? And she reached in her purse as I was leaving and handed me $15!!! I tried to say NO, but she was insisting. There are some nice people out there when you least expect it!
