I Am Afraid of Rejection

Have any of you ever gotten back with an ex? What was it like? Was it successful? I can't help but be insecure that they'd just leave again because nothing stopped them then.. what will stop them now?

I would recommend that you try to be good friends with your exes. Be curious. Let them be part of your life, to a degree. At least that's what I do.
Yes there is a reason why they are exes, but there is also a reason why you've been in a relationship.

@helenS I agree but how do you stay good friends with someone that you still have attraction for, without falling back into the same habits

@lka2802 In this case I try to cope with that. It's a difficulty that can be overcome by willpower. Yes I am still attracted to my exes (physically) but I am a free woman. I have even visited one of my exes in Berlin for a full week, and slept in his apartment (!), to find out more about how he's doing now.
