I Am A Very Loving And Affectionate Person

I didn't date much in high school, but I think I missed a lot. It's so nice talking and kissing until way past my curfew.

When I was in college, at a time when men were alliwed no further than the dual living rooms in the women's dorm, the couches and love seats had scorch marks.

@Mamapolo2016 haha :)
Where I'm going next year, and I guess most places now, it's full coed.
That was a period of rapid, and I do mean breathtaking change. Freshman year, men were not permitted past the doors to the stairs and first floor hallways, except for two hours on Sunday afternoons and the room doors had to remain open and each of a couple had to have one foot on the floor. There were bed checks adter curfew and women (not men)?had to have written oermission from their parents to go anywhere but home for a weekend. We had a monthly tea with the housemother, Mrs Spires, and we wore white gloves and stockings, I kid you not. By Senior year,everybody (almost) was braless and we had coed dorms.. @jen2000

Haha - if you had it to do over knowing what you know now, would you have tried to wait a few years?
To go to school, you mean?
Nooooo. I had a happy and well-loved childhood. We lived in the country, in a place called Breedtown, hilariously, because they didn't breed there. Breedtown considted of my dad's church, the Grange Hall (like a farmer's Elks Club with no bar), anf our house. At 18, I had been kissed once. Out folks kept us busy.

I was wild to get out into the great wide world. @jen2000

What a name for a town :) I live in Pittsboro... not much better really :)
I had kissed several boys before I turned 18 and managed to loose my virginity just last Christmas, three months before I turned 18. I was the last one on my group of friends to be so unencumbered. Things are changing rapidly now however and it's so much fun.

@Mamapolo2016 North Carolina - it's near Raleigh
Well. a bit of sage advice about college. Boys and partying and no parents can be awesome as long as you are your own best friend. I sailed through high school and rarely cracked a book. College is different, and they don't usually coddle you in terms of scolding about homework & such. You study and pass or you party and flunk and there you are back with your folks again.

All things in as much moderation as you can manage.

It's very smart to fall in love with a committed student so sometimes you study. 😊.@jen2000

@Mamapolo2016 sounds like good advise. I am a little boy crazy now, but I don't care to drink and I want to be a marine biologist. I'm committed to getting an education and I refuse to let anything stand in the way. The bf /study partner is a nice idea.
I hope it's everything you hope for and more.

There is so much to learn, in and out of class. The thing to remember is, if you're going to college, you are probably one of the better students in your class. At college, so is everybody else, so good grades are more competitive.

It can truly be among the best years of your life, if you work it so stress and fretting are at a minimum.

Go get 'em, kid!@jen2000
